The show starts from South Africa, following the long right-hander Whinthoflake's Opennink. Kevin Luttleff, skating on Shefley Hay, looks like Nat Yank and Michael Heatherson with his long limbs. The North Light from a short hoof was a trendy surfer at the time. You can also see the writing of director Lot Sanfter, and his use of the rails is beautiful. The contests between Sitney, Caltcoast, and Health show the era of new maneuvers by Nat Yank, Cole Smith, and Tet Schenser. The surfing was dominated by 6 to 7 foot single fins, and there is also precious surfing by Ralph Arness, who put an end to the short hoof trend, which was a competition of shortness. There is a historic contest between Health and Shohanna. You can also see the terrifying hacksite re-entry of Wayne Lynch. Hicks' Hen Iha, Rutolf, Tennis Han, Nat and Lynch will be remembered as a historic session, and watching the footage shows the unique character of surfers. In Hawaii, the attacks of Roges, Reno Ahelira, Owl Chafman, Hen Iha, Corky Carroll and Osie were fresh. The classic Honoluahei in Maui with all the members together is a must-see for anyone wanting to know this era. The music is classic, with a focus on rock by Santana and Free, as well as Shaw and E.S. Listening.
