It captures the birth of fish design and its impact on surf culture 30 years later.
A surf film told through interviews with the shapers and pioneers involved in the development of Fish.

This film made me realize the importance of the things I love and the things I take for granted so much that I never really appreciated them. Even though I surf my custom-made fishes all the time, I never really thought about who created them and how they did it. To me, fishes are just that obvious. But not filmmaker Joseph Ryan. Luckily for us, he decided to uncover the secrets of how the fish was born. And he spent five years and all his money on this film.
