Jim Messina, who had been a member of Buffalo Springfield and Poco, formed a duo while producing singer-songwriter Kenny Loggins.
They released their debut album in 1972. They sparked the West Coast boom, but disbanded in 1977.
I would especially recommend this album to fans of Loggins & Messina .
