This model is based on the Velo Spoon, and was originally developed as a kneeboard. After that, further improvements were made and the model was completed as a standing surfboard.
This board is capable of extraordinary takeoffs that are completely unimaginable from its length, and its subsequent acceleration is also exceptional. At first, its incredible speed can make it hard to initiate a turn, but once you get used to it, it's the ultimate short-range model that can dynamically perform everything from deep turns to top actions. This is a super fun board that performs exceptionally well in knee-high to head-sized waves.
Since it is a spoon deck (scoop deck), the center is thin, but there is a considerable volume near the rail, so it has more buoyancy than its length would suggest.
