Since 1979, CROW HALEY Surf Leashes have been handcrafted in San Diego, Southern California, with a commitment to "MADE IN USA" (美国造) quality, producing each leash cord individually.

However, due to his advanced age, leash craftsman Crow Haley was no longer able to maintain a stable supply and reportedly decided in 2025 to only produce for his family members.

Going forward, production and supply will continue as "Designed in USA, Made in JAPAN."

The handmade manufacturing methods and materials remain exactly the same as before. Only the Velcro portion has been updated to a material that is more resistant to saltwater.

Crow Haley said, "This is an old-fashioned way, but it's the only way when it comes to quality. I design everything to be the most efficient, 'strongest yet lightest.'"

This leash cord is flexible and tangle-free.
