Since 1979, CROW HALEY Surf Leashes have been handcrafted in Southern California, San Diego, with a commitment to "MADE IN USA" quality, producing each leash cord one by one.

However, Crow Haley, the leash craftsman, due to his advanced age, could no longer maintain a stable supply and decided in 2025 that he would only make leashes for his family.

Going forward, production and supply will be "Designed in USA, Made in JAPAN."

The handmade manufacturing methods and materials remain exactly the same as before. Only the Velcro part has been updated with a material that is more resistant to seawater.

Crow Haley said, "This is an old-fashioned way, but it's the only way for quality. I design everything to be the most efficient and 'strongest yet lightest'."

This leash cord is flexible and less prone to tangling.
