Since 1979, CROW HALEY Surf Leashes have been handcrafted one by one in Southern California, San Diego, with a commitment to MADE IN USA quality.

However, due to his old age, leash craftsman Crow Haley was no longer able to ensure a stable supply, and reportedly decided in 2025 that he would only produce for close relatives.

Going forward, production and supply will be "Designed in USA, Made in JAPAN."

The handmade manufacturing methods and materials are exactly the same as before. Only the Velcro part has been updated to a material that is more resistant to seawater.

Crow Haley said, "This is an old-fashioned way, but it's the only way when it comes to quality. I design everything to be the most efficient and 'strongest yet lightest'."

This is a flexible leash cord that doesn't tangle easily.
