The shortboard revolution occurred in the late 1960s.
This trend that started in Australia quickly spread to California, and many brands' surfboards suddenly became shorter.
In the midst of all this, CON Surfboards released the Iron Butterfly, a short-range model that had never been seen before, causing a stir. The Iron Butterfly quickly became a classic.

Steve Blom was a shaper for CON Surfboards in the 80's and has shaped countless Iron Butterflies.

Now, Steve Brom has completely re-released this classic Iron Butterfly (the only difference from the original is that the "CON" in the logo has been changed to "BROM").

The Iron Butterfly, which even has a reproduction logo, is now exactly the same as the one from the late 1960s.
The board design has been perfectly reproduced down to the smallest detail, making it a truly collector's item.

It makes a great piece of art to display in your room, and it's also a great board that lets you transform into a surfer of the time in the ocean.
