In 1992, Mike Klein founded Moonshine Leather Company in his hometown of Nashville, Indiana. In 2005, he opened a shop in Jerome, Arizona.

In 2017, Mike's son Jacob joined the family business as a co-owner.

Through the years and changes, two fundamentals remain constant: one, being a family-run, homegrown business, and two, consistently dedicating themselves to creating original Made in USA leather designs.
