The Nuuhiwa Fish was ridden by 70's superstar David Nuuhiwa when he was sponsored by DYNO Surfboards. The shaper at that time was Steve Brom.
Its characteristic is an outline that is slightly wider at the nose than the Huntington Fish, allowing for high-speed surfing. The tail, like the Huntington Fish, is narrower compared to the San Diego Fish, resulting in a superb ride with light turns and excellent maneuverability.
