NVS Skip Frye THRUSTER (FUTURES)

Skip Frye's Thruster template was inspired by fins from his longtime friend Jeff Grennan.

We widened the base of Grennan's classic outline, refined the tip, and made subtle adjustments to the foil. After several years of testing and prototypes, we are finally very satisfied with the result.

Skip loves this board for gliders and long fish boards, saying it provides an ideal balance for boards with long rail lines. We and several team riders also enjoy this board on various boards.

It moves surprisingly smoothly even on smaller boards. It can also be used on standard thruster boards, egg boards, and fish boards. Some even enjoy splitting them and using them as quad boards.

Volan front fins provide stability and drive, while the center fin offers flexibility and liveliness, creating an exquisite balance of trim, speed, and control.
